Hello, and welcome to Chaos Online. Chaos Online is a site dedicated to the Sinclair Spectrum ZX video game, Chaos: The Battle of Wizards. This Web site not only contains information about how the game is played, but it also features a java applet on which you can play Chaos to your hearts content.
As I mentioned before, the site also contains a plethora of relevant Chaos information. Such information includes the ever-trusty rule book -- one can hardly expect you to tackle the epic journey you will encounter without first briefing you on how to negotiate it.
Another handy page that this Web site provides is our spell guide, which will aid you in your quest to become the dominant wizard. The guide will also provide brief descriptions of all the creatures you will find (and indeed those you can't find) in Chaos. A bestiary, if you will.
You needn't think that's all we provide for you! Chaos Online also boasts a book of hints which will allow you, the fledgling wizard, a better chance against the most formidable of foes.
Should the aforementioned hints page be insufficient, we will also equip you with the most cunning and sly set of bugs that are evident in the game, coupled, of course, with the devious means of manipulating each of them to your favour. We must recommend, however, that you at least attempt beating the game a few times before succumbing to the inevitable cheat-fest.
Not only this, but Alex Sains has written an extensive and personal review of Chaos: The Battle of Wizards. This review tells of his obsession with Chaos from a very early age, and explains why he is still playing it today, around 15 years since he first loaded up his Spectrum.
Last but certainly not least, we provide you Chaos-addicts with a medium for discussion. Partnered with Final Fantasy Net, our forum is great fun and well moderated.
So, with all that said, off you go into the world that is Chaos Online -- what we believe to be the Internet's largest Chaos: The Battle of Wizards resource!
